Terms of Service

This website is operated by StreetGuard ("we", "us", "our"). By visiting this site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully — they contain important information including limitations of liability and how orders are fulfilled and delivered.

1. General

You must be at least the age of majority in your place of residence to purchase from us. You may not use our products or services for any unlawful purpose. We may refuse service, cancel orders or terminate accounts where we reasonably suspect fraud, abuse, or breach of these terms.

2. Products & Information

We make every effort to display our products, specifications and pricing accurately, but cannot guarantee your screen matches the physical product, and minor variations between batches may occur. We may improve, change or discontinue products at any time. All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable.

3. Use of Security Products

StreetGuard products are theft-deterrent, signal-blocking and recovery aids. While they significantly reduce the risk of theft, no security product can guarantee that a vehicle will never be stolen. You must install and use products in accordance with the included instructions and your local road rules. Some products (such as hidden kill switches / immobilisers) involve basic wiring — if you are not confident, use a qualified auto electrician. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss or damage arising from improper installation, modification, or use contrary to the instructions.

4. Orders & Acceptance

Placing an order is an offer to purchase. We may accept or decline any order, in whole or in part, including after a confirmation has been sent — for example where stock is unavailable, where we identify a pricing or description error, or where fraud is suspected. If we cancel an order, we'll refund all amounts paid for the cancelled items. In the event of an obvious pricing error, we may cancel and refund affected orders even after payment.

5. Pricing & Payment

We may change prices at any time without notice; changes do not affect orders already placed. You warrant that you are authorised to use the payment method provided.

6. Promotions & Discount Codes

Promotional offers, discount codes and bundle pricing are available for limited times, may not be combined unless expressly stated, have no cash value, and may be modified or withdrawn at any time. We may cancel orders that exploit pricing or promotion errors or use unauthorised codes.

7. Fulfilment & Delivery

Orders are dispatched from our Australian fulfilment partner where local stock is available. If an item is temporarily out of stock locally, you agree that we may fulfil your order directly from one of our overseas supply partners so you receive the identical product as quickly as possible. Multi-item orders may arrive in separate parcels. All delivery timeframes are estimates only, are not guaranteed, and — to the extent permitted by law — a delay does not entitle you to cancel, claim a refund or claim compensation. 8. Returns & Faulty Products

Returns require prior authorisation from our support team — products sent back without first contacting us, or to an unauthorised address, cannot be processed and will not be refunded, except where consumer law requires otherwise. Faulty-product claims require photo or video evidence. Full details are in our Returns & Refunds policy, which forms part of these terms.

10. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law: (a) our total liability in connection with any order or these terms is limited to the amount you paid for the products giving rise to the claim; (b) we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, loss of profits, or loss of opportunity; and (c) where liability cannot be excluded but can be limited, our liability is limited, at our option, to the replacement or repair of the goods or the supply of equivalent goods.

12. Intellectual Property & Reviews

All content on this site — including the StreetGuard name, branding, imagery, copy and design — is owned by or licensed to us and may not be reproduced without permission. If you submit a review or other content, you grant us a perpetual, royalty-free licence to use, edit and display it in connection with our business, and confirm it is honest, lawful and your own.

13. Privacy

Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

14. Force Majeure

We are not liable for any failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including carrier disruption, customs delays, supplier disruption, natural disasters, epidemics, strikes or government action.

15. General

If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, it is severed and the remainder continues in force. These terms, together with the policies referenced in them, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the services.

16. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Australia, without limiting any mandatory consumer protections that apply in your place of residence.
